天津贵金属交易所（以下简称“津贵所”）是根据国务院关于《推进滨海新区开发开放有关问题的意见》（国发﹝2006﹞20号）的政策精神，经天津市批准，由天津产权交易中心发起设立的公司制交易所。津贵所注册资本金为一亿元人民币，由中国中信集团控股，天津产权交易中心、中国黄金集团公司等企业参股。津贵所营业范围为“贵金属（含黄金、白银）、有色金属、黑色金属、金属材料、钢材及其制品、矿产品及其原料（不含煤炭）、化学产品(不含危险化学品)、农副产品现货批发、零售、延期交收，并为其提供电子交易平台；自有房屋租赁；以上相关的咨询服务（依法须经批准的项目，经相关部门批准后方可开展经营活动）”。 津贵所立足于为大宗商品现货交易和风险管理提供综合性解决方案，津贵所于2010年2月开始试运行，2012年2月正式运行。 2016年6月，津贵所创新性地推出现货挂牌模式，以“LeadingEX”现货交易交收系统为平台，以非标准化产品的挂牌摘牌交易为核心，辅以物流、金融、定制等配套性综合服务，将更有效满足参与方的现货贸易及风险管理需求，服务实体经济。 津贵所的设立是滨海新区金融先行先试的重要创新实践之一，是对我国贵金属市场体系的补充和对商品市场体系的完善，有利于规范和引导场外贵金属交易市场发展。未来津贵所将不断完善会员服务和定价机制，继续国内交易市场，并在国际市场中占有一席之地。通过津贵所的交易交收体系的完善及交易品种的丰富，达到促进商品流通的交易所服务职能，增强交易所在行业中的竞争力，打造津贵品牌特色，切实做到大宗商品市场服务实体经济的政策要求。
